Winter open day at Bradbourne House....with a little help from John!

I recently exhibited at Bradbourne House, East Malling, Open day and wanted to share with you some inspiration for Winter/spring weddings. Flower availability and variety is much more limited in the winter and early spring months, but I wanted to show how wonderful some of the winter/spring flowers really are.

Palest of greens, white and ivory teamed with champagne and blush ballet pink looks amazing, really soft and romantic. I decided to use a selection of blooms including ranunculus, hellebores, gelderose and tulips along with dolomite and avalanche roses. I also wanted to add some lovely details that transform any centrepiece into a show stopper. I love these hanging spheres, in which I placed LED tlights (which are new out and have a real wax touch and realistic flicker- you would never tell they were faux)

I would like to mention and thank John from John Erskine Photography for the lovely images featured in this Blog who was also exhibiting at this show. At the end of the day we got chatting and John complimented my on my choice of colours and exceptional flowers, he then spent a few few moments snapping and zooming in and here are the end results!
